Terms and conditions of use
This website is provided to facilitate GP practices in Scotland undertaking the GP Safety Climate Tool. The service is provided by IT for GP Ltd on behalf of Health Improvement Scotland (subsequently referred to as 'we'). Copyright of the questionnaire is held by NHS Education for Scotland. Copyright of the report format and guidance documents is held by Health Improvement Scotland. Copyright of all website code, layout and graphics (with the exception of any NHS logos) is held by IT for GP Ltd.
Use of the site is restricted to GP practices in Scotland and a licence to use the questionnaire, guidance documents, and the reports generated by the site is granted to such Practices (subsequently referred to as 'you') for the purpose of quality improvement within the practice only.
We will make access available to the tool without charge by us. You are responsible for all charges associated with accessing the Tool, including any computer equipment, internet connections, or software. The hours of availability will be determined by us and may be changed without notice. We reserve the right to refuse access to any individual and network.
We will attempt to ensure that all information provided by the site is accurate but make no warranties or guarantees to this effect. We accept no responsibility or liability arising from your use or inability to use the tool, any error or omission in the materials downloaded from or reports generated by the Tool.
The Data Controller is Health Improvement Scotland. Your data will be processed on behalf of Health Improvement Scotland by IT for GP Ltd following the principles laid out by the Data Protection Act. By providing us with your data, you are giving your consent that your personal information may be processed for the purposes necessary to conduct and develop our services. This includes the use of data (including questionnaire data) for relevant research purposes. No published research will allow the identification of any practice or individual.
We reserve the right to modify the terms of this agreement at any time.
